Our Services

We offer a wide range of architectural services on a variety of types of project ranging through small scale domestic works; historic building works and small to medium commercial and residential development projects.

If you have a project and would like to know more about how we can help you, get in touch with us today.

  • Regulations & Construction

We will prepare and submit a Building Regulations (Notice) application on your behalf. Works can commence on site with 48 hours of the submission of and payment for the Building Notice application.

The drawings generally include plans, sections, elevations, details and full specification notes and are generally prepared in the following categories:

Construction summary drawings • Demolitions drawings • Structures and setting-out drawings • Drainage, plumbing and heating drawings • General building works drawings • Electrical layout drawings • Fit-out and finishes drawings.

  • Planning

Once the design has been finalised and “signed-off”, we will prepare drawings and documents suitable for submission to the local authority planning department (full planning, prior approval application, application for a Certificate of Lawfulness etc.).

On receipt of the relevant planning application fee, we will submit the application, which starts the planning process. We will monitor your application as it progresses through the planning system and keep you appraised of any developments.

  • Architectural Design

Following the briefing/design meeting and when the “existing” drawings have been completed, we will commence the design process. This starts with our initial proposals, which will be prepared on the basis of our initial brief, together with our experience of what may work best for the property.

These first proposals are simply an exercise in putting ideas onto paper for discussion. As such they will not always be the right solution but hopefully be a good catalyst for the design discussion.

As Architects, our role is to help our clients achieve the best possible potential in their project. On that basis, our first proposals may stretch the brief a little, if nothing else to demonstrate the potential for the project.

  • 3D Dimensional Surveys

In order to design, we need an accurate representation of the building. When we receive a commission, the first priority is to carry out full dimensional surveys so that we can prepare detailed information to work from.

We will prepare a set of “existing” drawings (plans, sections and elevations) which will form the basis for planning applications etc.
